Get a money belt to wear inside your clothes at your waist tucked into your underwear that carries your passport credit card and big denomination cash I use a Guatemalan trick for day cash, sometimes my credit card too, two plastic ziplocks left side large bills rt side small bills for the DAY Momeda coun change I toss in my bag eith sunglasses lipstick etc No mo ey in my bag ever These two places and your money belt keep everything safe I have not been pickpocketed EVER not in Mx, Guatemala 20 yrs resident or in Europe because I do this I even do it on American visits now just 2nd nature I get weird looks in dept store sin the US but who cares Living here I only need the bra moneyno one is going to reach inside your bra or down your panties in public SUPER safe and Latinas doit here Comment from : Sybil Francis |

General travel tips regardless of destination Photocopy or print a copy of your passport for visual affirmation Also, scan all your documents to include credit card numbers and who to call if card is compromised or lost and email to yourself Also, take a photo with your phone of relative docs which are important This includes you stamped tourist information Cheers!
