Potential tips I’ve learned from this channel (take what you will and consider for your own safety protocols): brbrWith crushes: avoid being near fences, walls or doors where you’d be potentially pressed up and crushed to death To avoid being smothered within a giant crowd, try to keep your head up and keep moving (This is what I gained solely based off this channel so make of it what you will, it’s probably better to look up articles online that tell you how to avoid and get out of crushes so research is important) brbrWith boats and ships on fire that seem to have no hope of being saved: listen to the captain if they know what they’re doing Follow crews orders; put on a life jacket and get on a life boat; if no life boat, get a life jacket and jump into the water If no life jacket, find someone who can swim and hold onto them, if no one’s around, find a large flat wooden board or plank or piece of wooden furniture that will float and get into the water with it Believe it or not, a wooden door can hold two people afloat as proven on myth busters Also the sole survivor of the Moby Prince boat disaster seemed to have survived by breathing through his wet shirt to breathe in as little smoke as possible, though note he did not jump in the water because there was an oil spill and it could have been set alight at any second so he survived by hanging on the side of a railing for about two hours waiting for help to arrive brbrIn a burning building such as the Beverly Hills Fire and the Chicago theater fire: ideally know your venue before you book tickets and go, most ticket services online show you a big layout of the building/concert venue with distinct labels of emergency exits and main doors Know your emergency exits, listen and follow the staff and busboys because they usually know the layout of the venue brbrTheme parks: don’t run into areas that say don’t trespass But I think we all know that one! brbrIdeally do your research and know where the nearest fire extinguishers are in your home in case of a fire This channel convinced me that it’s a good thing to be prepared and aware of your surroundings at large venues Comment from : Sylvia Bennan
