nailed it Comment from : Will Yum |

Personally, as a Londoner, wouldn't hate Leicester Square so much, it is great as a meeting point and you can go to really diverse places from there, including Trafalgar Square What I would say though is Oxford Street is overrated, filled with dodgy (often American candy) stores that may also be places of money laundering where there used to be good shops Still some good shops on that street, but there are other places in London without the dodgy stores Comment from : Charlie Mile |
i quite liked the london dundeons and sealife Comment from : Kiran Trivedi |

I went to the Shard on a visit in 2018 Like you, instead of just going to the observatory level, we chose to book in for lunch at the Aqua Shard restaurant, also in the Shard We pre booked their three course fixed price menu, available for lunch Monday to Friday It was only slightly more expensive than going to the observatory level The food was fabulous, the views were great from the restaurant and we had a lovely time I completely agree with you about the London Eye - it was a waste of time and money I have yet to visit Sky Garden and hope to add this to my list for my next trip Comment from : MEA |

Excellent recommendation of a great, FREE 360-degree view of London I took your advice and booked a time slot at Sky Garden on the first day bookings opened—it was 3 weeks before I wanted to visit The view of The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and The Thames was better than our actual visit to these places Comment from : Booker S |

Just back from my 3rd trip to London, and tried to do something new If you are interested in history The Imperial War Museum and the Churchill War rooms are fascinating and bring that history to life We as American's can't even fathom what it was like to live through both World Wars on your home turf Comment from : Jeri Stalford |

Thanks a lot for the tips! Just one thing You said we could save the View from The Shard ticket money by having an afternoon tea at Ting But, their afternoon tea is actually around 70 pounds whereas the Shard view ticket is half that price!!!! Comment from : GBH _ |
Great tips! We are coming in 2024 Can you tell us which street (close to tourists section) we get the double decker bus for Liverpool #11? Comment from : Raptors fan girl |
Re Soho: Fitzrovia (less than a mile north of Soho) has a better vibe - in fact, it reminds me a little of how Soho used to be in the 1980s and early 1990s Comment from : M Brady |
Thank You! Comment from : Princess Kimberly |
Great video and again I'm a Londoner born and bred 🙂All your advice is on point and a lot of these places charge way too much for the experience! But I have to say I do disagree on 2 of your places The Shard, though 2 expensive, the restaurants don't go as high as the visiting platform, the height of the visiting platform is part of the experience Imo Also Sea Life is excellent for families, as father of 2 small children we all enjoyed it Not sure if you have already or are thinking of doing a vlog for families visiting London as I think that would also be well received Comment from : Scott Dopwell |
This is spot on 👌🏾 brI live in London and always tell family visiting to avoid Madame Tussaud it’s nothing and expensive but for some reason they still want to go lol brbrDoes anyone know where this Madame Tussaud’s hype even started? I don’t understand how it’s still a thing Comment from : U F |
Totally agree about Leicester Square, except maybe at Christmas when there is a market and entertainmentAlso there is a cheap ish premier inn there which is very central for London theatre restaurants shopping etc Comment from : katylou Farrow |
I would say the 4 attractions one they are good I think it’s just more preference on what’s your kind of thing I think If u are like a family with kids/teens they are brilliant 🤷♀️ Comment from : Connor Evans |
AWFUL! Leicester Square IS in Soho, and is a wonderful venue with free street performances Have you ever even been to London? Comment from : Matt Probert |

Your tips may work for adults, with kids it's differentbrSpent a week in London recently and prepared well for it with guides like this Had 2 kids with me, and I can't agreebrSure, we did not do the view from The Shard - Sky Garden is booked out 3 weeks in advance When a new day is switched to the booking table, Sky Garden almost get's fully booked We had as alternative The Gardens at 120 (Fenstreet), and it was fantastic Since it is lower than the surrounding Skyscrapers, you get them on foto very goodbrWe did not the Awful Four - except for Madame Tussaud, and it was worth the ticket price A lot of fun for all 3 of us brBus riding was as essential for us as the Tube Here I agree fully with you 🙂brLeicester Square was not that crowded for us, scarefully crowded instead seemed Soho and Piccadilly Circus, so we enjoyed the stay at Leicester Square Of course anyone there should be aware of the rip-of's around and all the people which want your money Kids mostly aren't interested in shopping, so viewing the street artists and just have a look in the craziest shop of London, the M&M store, was the better ideabrYour alternatives to the awful four did not work for us: my? all? kids are not interesting in having a tea, go to a theater, or live jazz music I brought them to Tate Modern, and that was ok Since they laughed at some art Wanted to see the Infinity Room of Yayoi Kusama, but there was the same problem as with the Skygarden - absolutely no tickets bookable; it was fully booked 3 weeks in advance Comment from : Ralf Bahrdt |
Ooooooh! You know the work of bubblegum man,on Millenium bridge!!!brThat makes me very happy indeed!!😅😊😅 Comment from : Charles Perez |

Aww the one thing I disagree with is London Dungeon, as an avid history buff I adore it 😂😅 Comment from : Poenari Moon |
Iv never been to London but hope to go someday and obsessed with uk culture, however I would recommend "novelty automation" it's an arcade that a very brilliant engineer made himself Bunch of cool little games that a very smart man thought up and built He's an engineering marvel Comment from : Ryan McCarthy |
Great ideas btw Comment from : Ryan McCarthy |
Thank you for sharing your tips in such a lovely way! I'm going to London today and your videos have helped me a lot I wish you all the best! Comment from : Adelia |
Thank you I know some of the "shallow things" I'm still going to do because its what my British Boyfriend loves to do in London But I also really love the alternatives you present Especially about the bus Comment from : Bryonna Nobles |
Hi I have enjoyed your videos and found them to be helpful Just came back from a trip to London and it was great In one of your other videos, you also talk about trying the red busses insted of the open tour busses I went to Liverpool Street to get on bus number 10, as you had suggested, but there was no bus number 10 to be found I can now see in this video, that you are talking about bus number 11 I do not know what happened to bus number 10 but maybe a disclaimer, so that other people don't go in vain Comment from : Jims only |
Thank you! Planning a Solo Trip, so appreciate this brI understand the London eye is on the list, but its been in my bucket list so I have to still do it 🤣 Comment from : Neel Dhawan |
I go to Leicester Square for the theater ticket booths My friend and I hit them first thing in the morning, get our tickets and head on out for the day, No reason to hang out there Comment from : Pamela Wing |
