Great video, Paul! That's very nice to watch your videos I love trains I suppose travelling by train is the best value on destination route, f e between Paris and Barcelona, Madrid and Barcelona or Paris and London while going from city centre to city centre And it's certainly much more CHEAPER than travelling by plane It's much better for those who is afraid of flying In such countries like Spain, France or Italy train voyage is surely more appreciable And certainly your videos help me to understand how this is cool to go by train We go with Ouigo! 😁👍 Train is simply fantastic Your journey was pretty good Like your videos Your channel is the best With loving! 💓💓💓 Comment from : Lenovo C2 |

300km/h that is the maximum comercial speed it HS lines in Spain nowadays No train goes faster than that even when the top speed of many series are higher (s103 350km/h s102/112 330km/h) Comment from : José Felipe Fraile González |

Regarding the foot pump in the toilet vs the button to flush, I have a strong feeling that the foot pumps are in breach of the PRM TSI (Persons of Reduced Mobility Technical Specifications for Interoperability, the applicable European legislation adopted by member states), which tends to require that controls be palm-operablebrbrDoes the train travel at 320km/h on this route? The non-stop RENFE services sometimes do 310km/h and the line has the alignments to support 350km/h Comment from : Da Big G |

It is very good that we let Ouigo operate in Spain but France is only putting obstacles for Renfe to operate in France, the fault of all this, is the unpresentable of the President of the Spanish Government Pedro Sanchez, the rules of the game and the liberation of transport in Europe It is the same for all countries, France has always boycotted Spain all its life and the Spanish politicians are ashamed of this outrage Comment from : PM MANUEL |
|
|
With good reason airport style security exists 2004 Spain saw it's worst terror attack and the 2nd worst attack in Europe by fatalities As opposition to Spain's involvement to the War on Terror Islamists detonated 10 bombs on 4 different trains from the Cercanías Madrid, Killing 193 and wounding over 2000 By number of deaths only the Lockerbie bombing is higher at 270 And ETA between 1961 and 2011 carried out over 3300 attacks, killing close to 1000 people Even as recently as last year attacks have been carried out in Spain, with the most recent being a vehicle ramming in the city of Murcia Comment from : E Y |

I did the exact same route, Madrid to Barcelona as a day trip Went on the Renfe with the AVE little bit pricey but I think it was due to the timing of year and during peak hour, I also found the seats very uncomfortable Took 2 hrs and 50 mins probably 3 or 4 stops along the way Such a great experience, I want to go back to Barcelona and do at least a minimum of two days of touristy things, since I had to stayed in Madrid when I went to Spain Comment from : Alex Ramos |
|
|
Only 300 km/h so far 🙂 Comment from : Jose Luis Bueno |

Looks like these trainsets are better than the single deck Avlos Despite the Avlos giving more luggage rom than the Duplex, the fact that you get a better view (via top deck), optional bigger seats (1 seating class on Avlo), and you have a snack/beverage car (none on Avlo), I think OUIGO is the better train to book Comment from : Ven100 |

John 3:16-21 br16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God Comment from : christopher |

So Madrid Atotcha is kind of the European railway equivalent of Changi, but obviously less extravagant Noticed the AVRILs at Camp de Tarragona I'm not fond of that design, but I guess aerodynamics are mor important than aesthetics Although that being said, The Velaro and Frecciarossa Zefiro doesn't have as egregious end designs as the AVRIL or any other Talgo higher-speed train (except the Talgo XXI diesel train, which is more reasonable) Comment from : Elevate Bothnia |

10:20 I very much like that unique cabin where people can buy some food and drinks, standing and making small talk I think it should be possible to have an entertainment Tv screen right there as well However for €9 for a 3hr trip how long can the rail authorities keep that up and not run into loses That is so very cheap Comment from : Straight2Dpoint |

I took a Ouigo from Nice to Paris back in 2019 and other than having to depart Nice at 5:50 am, it was a fantastic bargain for the money and a very comfortable ride We did not have a dining (or snack) car but so long as you're aware ahead of time and bring food and drink, you're all set brbrThanks for sharing, Paul Love the Spanish scenery! In most countries taking the train is beneficial as you don’t have security anf don‘t have queues, except in Spain brWhy the Spanish make there train stations as close to airports as possible I don’t know Makes taking the train a chore which it shouldn’t be Comment from : Johnny Boy |
|
|
Frenchman speaking:brThe same way France’s Ouigo works in Spain, Spain’s Renfe works in France and I got to try them for the first time last month, from Beziers to Montpellier, I have to say I was wonderfully impressed by many things in that Spanish train: ultra modern, clean, a generous food and drinks service, very amiable personnelbrI’d ride Renfe over France’s sncf anyday, and once again: I am French Comment from : jetaddicted |

That's nothing In Germany you pay 90€ to the Deutsche Bahn for the same km trip and the train travels at <100kph when you factor in all the delays and unforseen stoppages while you roast in the summer because of the broken AC or freeze because of the malfunctioning heating system in the winter Comment from : AmvC |
