My wife and I are older so the snorkeling, swimming activity is not practical The excursion from Royal Caribbean and the travel agency are not very appealing Are there vendors options after you land? Is it safe to do a self walking tour of Georgetown? Comment from : Lynn Paustian |

I hate being told to wear a life vest in the water When I was younger, I could dive quite deep and even though I can still hold my breath a lot longer than average, my big problem is getting under Now, I float iway/i more than I want to I don't want flotation I want weights At least enough to get me buoyancy neutral Comment from : Lord Kiltridge |

This was very helpful! We are going to Grand Cayman on March 21, which is the first day the port has opened since the beginning of thr pandemic All the ship excursions are sold out, but we were going to see if we could take a taxi to 7 Mile Beach Now I know that there are additional tours at the peer and definitely taxis Thanks so much! Comment from : Katherine Mohr |

My family and I will be taking our first ever cruise in July 2022 through Carnival and I stumbled across your channel and LOVE it! Quick question I have: One of our stops will be Grand Cayman and I am wondering if those who purchase excursions get priority boarding the first few tender boats (We spent a week in Grand Cayman a few years ago and experienced much that the island had to offer, so we were not planning to book an excursion) With that said, we would like to spend the most time we can there and didn't know if there is a system in place to try and get on the first few tender rides that go out in the morning once we get to Grand Cayman Thanks !! I got a question! Can we take our 4 and 2 year old with us on the "deluxe stingray city sandbar for families"? Also, can I fit that Stingray experience and time out on 7 mile beach at the same time, or is it either one or the other? Love your vids! THX! Comment from : fozzie dabear |

The prettiest water I’ve ever seen! Comment from : Janice Crowell |
|
We did stingray city with a private company and it was much cheaper There was a photographer on board and we bought a flash drive with all of our pictures I think it was $25 or $35 for that and my friend and I shared it Ours was one of the few tours that actually let us feed the stingrays because there are limits of how much they are allowed to be fed I wish I remembered the name of the tour Comment from : Janice Crowell |
|
Along with Bermuda, we felt quite safe in Grand Cayman and never hassled by vendors or such That was eons ago back in 2006, but I would expect that it has remained quite peaceful there Comment from : Brucie TheCuz |

Crystal Charters was fabulous! They took us to Starfish Point instead of Stingray City because it was closed due to rough seas Comment from : mommasgift1 |

|
I think I have the perfect do-it-yourself excursion, for Dee and Jay It's cheap and easy, that's why we have done it many times when we have been in Grand Cayman So we exit the port area, and take a public bus to the best snorkeling and beach ever But MAYBE I shouldn't give it away, since it's always serene and uncrowded when we are there Ok ok, take the public bus to cemetery beach So the bus (looks like a van), is easy to find and cheap, like $3 a person Cemetery beach is located on 7 mile beach This beach is quiet, has a few picnic tables, trees, and wonderful snorkeling One thing to note, there are no bathrooms or restaurants on this section of the beach, but that is why it stays pristine There is a good variety of fish, and the entrance is so much easier than Eden Rock and places like that I get a little nervous climbing slippery ladders, when the waves are rough Last time we where there, we seen at least 25 varieties of fish, lobster etc Comment from : YouCanDoIt |
|
Walking on the ocean floor has now jumped to something I have to do! Thanks for the info, guys! Comment from : WickedWonder1979 |
