I was thinking this was gonna cover the magneto phenomenon covering most of the southern pacific and lower south America as the reason a direct asia to south American flight over the pacific isn't possible Thats the reason no aircraft (and no satellites for that matter) fly over that section of earth The resonate effects of the van fallen belts create fluctuations in earths magnetic field and can fry electronics in aviation and space craft in that region
