There is never an attraction that people “should never visit”, they are attractions because they are all beautiful in their own way, just different audiences I went to the catacombs 2 days ago and for me it was one of the most incredible experiences, I went 2 ways, through the actual museum and with a friend as a guide It was absolutely worth spending hours of my short 2 day trip!

It's not distasteful to visit Alcatraz Island Paranormal investigators go there a lot, the prison is a museum where you can learn about what the inmates went through, and Native Americans gather at Alcatraz Island a couple times a year because of occupation you mentioned because it was an important part of the country's history Sure, selfies are unnecessary but no one should be discouraged from visiting this historic site 🙄

I’ve been to the catacombs, and honestly, I’m glad I went Walking through there is surreal The history is also fascinating brbrThat said, the only way I would agree with it being an entry on this list is if you go exploring the non-tourist designated areas Much of the catacombs are unmapped and/or unstable You could easily get trapped or lost down there if you stray from the acceptable paths, and it could be quite dangerous

I've been to a few of these and they've actually been quite surreal I understand what they mean on the video, but still, camping around Darvaza and visiting the Aral Sea was just incredible

I've only been to the Island of the Dolls It is most definitely worth the time if creepy and spooky are your thing, especially since it's supposedly haunted Even Anthony Bourdain was visibly uncomfortable when he was there
