One shock that might be new in 2022, they seem to prefer that you pay card instead of cash If you use cash they really want exact change Oh and sometimes you have to pay to use the water closet, or bathrooms

Krakow is beautiful Shame stag weekends will damage the place like Riga, Bratislava etc Us Brits innit You must go to Auschwitz The organised tours are ok at about 30 quid but I'd recommend getting a minibus from the central bus station for a fiver return! It's v well signposted with plenty of information boards etc and you get more time especially in Birkenau which is the most desolate place I've ever seen I took my 14 year old daughter the second time as everyone should see the barbarism as soon as they can attempt and attempt is all you can do to appreciate humanity at its worst and to never let it happen again The biggest shock is there's modern housing literally built overlooking the camp Still freaks me out The airport link to the new train station is excellent and the Galleria was a really pleasant shopping centre that I didn't expect

3:18 if you see these, TRY THEM, i absolutely LOVE this kind of cheese, its called "Oscypki" and is made from sheep milk Its best kind of cheese i ever had brbrTho sheep can't be milked all year, so when its out of season, they might use cow milk instead which is not as good, but still kinda good

When I came to Poland many things shocked me For instance: Wawel castle because I had thought that Poland is in Africa Apart from that there is an "Obwarzanki" museum where you can make your own "obwarzanek"Furthermore, there is a museum about Japan called "Mangha" Your child may enjoy "Dziórawy Kocioł" - a Harry Potter themed cafeteria, you can buy Butterbeer there A lot of children also enjoy "Smok Wawelski", which is a statue of a dragon, it breathes fire every hour Kraków has its own special dish called "obwarzanek" which is basically a pretzel which is topped with poppy seeds, salt etcYou can buy some souvenirs at the Main Square too

Yeah, Cracow and Poland in general is cheap unless you are Polish or you work in Poland and get the Polish salary 😂🤣 for us, Polish people, tourist cities like Cracow, Warsaw or Zakopane are certainly not cheap In fact, many of us for vacation just go to their relatives' houses (I mean the relatives who are lucky enough to be living at the countryside or seaside) because they can't afford much more

What shocked me there, it was how much Polish ppl hates the tourist, 2 different places 2 woman was literally shout out at us in Polish, we only sad "hello" em English and she got very offended with that (it's a cafe and a restaurant) Now I understand why Polish ppl can barely speaks English even after 10 years living in Dublin I live in Dublin, because they hate the language I'll never go back there I can stay here quite long saying how bad the experience was out there

Hi Mark, really appreciate your videos But please keep in mind that visiting former concentration/ death camps with small children is not always a good idea Most visitors Centers recommend a certain minimum age (often 13-14 years), because it would be to horrible/overwhelming for younger kids

Well it's great over here We are on vacation in krakow! For the countries that have euros it's quite cheap too Clean town, polite people and good food The only problem is the weather 3 days here and the two of them it was raining Other than that it's a great family friendly destination

when i hear how cheap u can eat on Cracow Town Square i think "cheap, yeah Maybe for tourists from West" xD Belive me guys when u spend 100 zł for soup which in other places cost 10 zł and pierogi (normal price is 10-15) and cace (other places 5-10 zł) with 3 bears (it shouldnt be more expensive than 8-10 zł for 1 bear) with coce i can told u that Cracow Town Square can be like 2 or 3 times more expensive than regular city
